A more intimate take on the average bridal show - the Make My Day Wedding Expo is focused on the connection between engaged couples and wedding professionals. The event has the goal of not only being a memorable experience for everyone, but to help vendors find and book their ideal clients and couples feel confident in their wedding planning decisions! 

When couples are planning their weddings, they see the value in having many options all in one place, but they get overwhelmed when there are too many options, too many people pulling them in different directions, too big of crowds causing stress. Our bridal show experience creates an atmosphere that gives couples a more enjoyable and impactful planning journey. 

No massive ballrooms stuffed to the brim, instead beautiful venues with chosen businesses displaying their offerings with unique booth spaces!

The MMDWE first began in 2017 in Florida, then expanded to Oklahoma in 2020. Due to the pandemic, the expo took a break while we patiently waited for gatherings to be safe 
again! We are very excited to announce that the MMDWE is
making its return to Oklahoma on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Spain Ranch with special guest Desiree Hartsock Siegfried!

A spot as a vendor at the Make My Day Wedding Expo is a great 
opportunity for wedding professionals. Due to the intimacy of the event, there is an application process to become a vendor at the
MMDWE. We take a limited number of vendors within each 
category and do our best to make sure those selected to be at our 
event offer a variety of styles, offerings and pricing for the couples
who attend the event. This also increases the success of the 
participating wedding professionals.

focuses on a more intimate atmosphere, which means there are a limited

about the founder

Tatum Pettrey is the founder and lead organizer for the Make My Day Wedding Expo. She is the Mother to two beautiful daughters, Beckett and Blair and wife to her husband of 7 years, Luke. Tatum and Luke are both from Tulsa, Oklahoma, but moved to Florida in 2016, where Tatum has been a professional wedding planner for over 6 years. Prior to becoming a wedding planner she sold wedding dresses, which is where her love for the industry began.

Through her years of forming relationships with brides and wedding professionals, she saw the need for a bridal show experience that felt more intentional and impactful. She remembered the overwhelming feeling when she attended a wedding expo while planning her own wedding in 2015 and knew there was a different way these events could take place that didn't stress out couples, but instead empowered them to make the right decisions for the biggest day of their life. After speaking with colleagues, she realized they felt the same. Businesses wanted a better way to meet many couples in one day, but connect with their ideal client!

Tatum's other interests are: interior design, going to the movies, planning her kids birthday parties and spending time by the water.
